This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It is written to comply with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell and deliver a brief.
Data you give us:
Full name (for invoicing and brief personalisation)
Company name and role (to define the operator profile of the brief)
Business email address (for delivery and correspondence)
Country and city (for tax compliance and market context of the brief)
Decision question and free-text scope description that you submit through the intake form
Any additional information you volunteer through the intake form or email
Data we collect automatically:
IP address and approximate geolocation derived from IP (city-level, not precise)
Browser type, device type, referrer URL
Pages viewed on maalat.co and time on each page
Cookies as described in Section 8
Payment data:
Card details are captured and processed directly by Iyzico (Turkish payment institution). MAALAT does not receive or store your full card number. MAALAT receives from Iyzico only: transaction ID, transaction status, transaction amount, and the last 4 digits and card scheme of your card, for accounting and refund purposes.
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
We collect and use personal data on the following legal bases, as recognised under KVKK and GDPR:
Performance of the contract you enter when you place an order (to deliver the brief, invoice you, and respond to your queries)
Compliance with legal obligations (invoice retention under Turkish Tax Procedure Law No. 213, accounting records)
Legitimate interests — running and improving our website, preventing fraud, and communicating about your order
Your explicit consent — for optional marketing emails, if you opt in

Respond to your emails and support questions
Notify you of delays or changes to your order
Process refunds when applicable
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of maalat.co
Comply with Turkish tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles about you or resell your data to third parties.
5. Who we share it with
We share your data only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the minimum extent necessary:
Iyzico — payment processor (headquartered in İstanbul, Türkiye). Processes your payment and issues transaction confirmations.
Google (Search Console and, if enabled, Analytics) — for website traffic analysis. Data is aggregated and pseudonymised; IP is truncated where supported.
Framer, Inc. — our website hosting provider (headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands). Framer processes server logs and hosts the site content.
Cloudflare, Inc. — our DNS provider (headquartered in San Francisco, USA). Cloudflare processes DNS queries.
Turkish tax authorities and accountants — as required by Turkish tax law (invoice records).
A licensed Turkish YMM (Certified Public Accountant) — for bookkeeping and tax filings.
Legal counsel — where necessary to protect our rights.
Successor entities — in the event of a business sale or restructuring, subject to the same protection standards.
We never sell your personal data. We never share it with advertisers.
6. International transfers
Some of the recipients above are located outside Türkiye (Framer in the Netherlands, Cloudflare and Google in the USA). Under KVKK Article 9, transfers outside Türkiye require either your explicit consent or an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. For website hosting and DNS, transfers are made under the standard contractual clauses published by the processor and are essential for the operation of the website. By using maalat.co you consent to these transfers.
You can withdraw this consent at any time, but withdrawal will mean that maalat.co cannot function for you.
7. How long we keep it
Order and invoice data: 10 years, as required by Turkish Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and Turkish Commercial Code
Email correspondence: 3 years, then deleted
Analytics and log data: 26 months, then aggregated or deleted
Marketing consent records: for as long as consent is active, plus 3 years after withdrawal (evidentiary record)
BESPOKE engagement records: 5 years after engagement ends, unless the engagement contract sets a different period
Data no longer needed is deleted or fully anonymised.
8. Cookies
maalat.co uses:
Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (session, security). No consent needed.
Analytics cookies — Google Search Console and, if enabled, Google Analytics. These help us understand which pages readers find useful. You can opt out by declining the cookie banner or by using browser controls.
Payment cookies — set by Iyzico during checkout. Required for payment.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR Articles 15–22, you have the right to:
Know what personal data we hold about you
Access a copy of your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Restrict or object to processing in certain cases
Data portability where technically feasible
Withdraw consent at any time
Lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or, where GDPR applies, with your local EU supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, email founder@maalat.co with the subject “Data rights request” and identify yourself. We will respond within 30 days and, where required, forward you a KVKK-standard application form.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS/TLS 1.3 for all site traffic, access controls on stored data, and vetting of processors. No system is 100% secure. If we discover a personal data breach that risks your rights, we will notify you and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority within 72 hours, in line with KVKK requirements.
11. Children
maalat.co is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, email founder@maalat.co and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified by email to active order customers and summarised on our homepage for at least 30 days.

Kart bilgileri doğrudan Iyzico (Türk ödeme kuruluşu) tarafından alınır ve işlenir. MAALAT tam kart numaranızı almaz veya saklamaz. MAALAT, Iyzico’dan yalnızca şunları alır: işlem kimliği, işlem durumu, işlem tutarı ve muhasebe/iade amaçlı olarak kartın son 4 hanesi ve kart şeması.

KVKK ve GDPR kapsamında tanınan aşağıdaki hukuki dayanaklarla kişisel veri işleriz:
Sözleşmenin ifası — sipariş verdiğinizde kurulan sözleşmenin ifası (brifingin teslimi, fatura, sorularınıza yanıt)
Hukuki yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi — 213 sayılı Vergi Usul Kanunu kapsamında fatura saklama, muhasebe kayıtları

5. Kimlerle paylaşıyoruz
Verilerinizi yalnızca aşağıdaki alıcı kategorileriyle ve yalnızca gereken asgari ölçüde paylaşırız:
Iyzico — ödeme işlemcisi (merkezi: İstanbul, Türkiye)
Google (Search Console ve etkinleştirilirse Analytics) — web trafiği analizi. Veriler toplulaştırılır ve rumuzlandırılır; desteklendiğinde IP kırpılır.
Framer, Inc. — web sitesi barındırma sağlayıcımız (merkezi: Amsterdam, Hollanda). Sunucu logları ve site içeriği barındırması.
Cloudflare, Inc. — DNS sağlayıcımız (merkezi: San Francisco, ABD). DNS sorgularını işler.
Türk vergi otoriteleri ve muhasebeciler — Türk vergi mevzuatı gereği (fatura kayıtları)
Lisanslı YMM — muhasebe ve vergi beyannameleri için
Hukuk müşaviri — haklarımızı korumak için gerektiğinde
Halef kuruluşlar — işletme satışı veya yeniden yapılandırma durumunda, aynı koruma standartlarına tabi
Kişisel verilerinizi asla satmayız. Reklamverenlerle asla paylaşmayız.
6. Uluslararası veri aktarımı
Yukarıdaki alıcıların bir kısmı Türkiye dışında bulunmaktadır (Framer — Hollanda, Cloudflare ve Google — ABD). KVKK Madde 9 uyarınca yurt dışına aktarım açık rıza, yeterlilik kararı veya uygun güvenceler gerektirir. Web sitesi barındırma ve DNS için aktarımlar, işleyicinin yayınladığı standart sözleşme maddeleri kapsamında yapılmakta olup web sitesinin işletilmesi için zorunludur. maalat.co’yu kullanarak bu aktarımlara açık rıza vermiş olursunuz.
Bu rızayı istediğiniz zaman geri çekebilirsiniz; ancak geri çekme, maalat.co’nun sizin için çalışamayacağı anlamına gelir.
7. Ne kadar süre saklıyoruz
Sipariş ve fatura verileri: 10 yıl (Vergi Usul Kanunu ve Türk Ticaret Kanunu gereği)
E-posta yazışmaları: 3 yıl, ardından silinir
Analitik ve log verileri: 26 ay, ardından toplulaştırılır veya silinir
Pazarlama rıza kayıtları: rıza aktif olduğu sürece ve geri çekildikten sonra 3 yıl (delil kaydı)
BESPOKE çalışma kayıtları: çalışma sona erdikten 5 yıl sonra, sözleşme farklı bir süre belirlemedikçe
İhtiyaç kalmayan veriler silinir veya tamamen anonimleştirilir.
8. Çerezler
maalat.co şu çerezleri kullanır:
Kesinlikle gerekli çerezler — sitenin çalışması için gerekli (oturum, güvenlik). Rıza gerekmez.
Analitik çerezler — Google Search Console ve etkinleştirilirse Google Analytics. Hangi sayfaların okuyuculara yararlı olduğunu anlamamıza yardımcı olur. Çerez bildirimini reddederek veya tarayıcı ayarlarıyla devre dışı bırakabilirsiniz.
Ödeme çerezleri — checkout sırasında Iyzico tarafından ayarlanır. Ödeme için gereklidir.
Reklam veya izleme çerezi kullanmayız.
9. Haklarınız
KVKK Madde 11 ve GDPR Madde 15–22 uyarınca:

Verilerinizin kopyasına erişim hakkı
Yanlış verilerin düzeltilmesini isteme hakkı

Bu haklardan herhangi birini kullanmak için founder@maalat.co adresine “Veri hakları talebi” konusuyla e-posta gönderin. 30 gün içinde yanıt veririz ve gerektiğinde size KVKK standart başvuru formunu iletiriz.
10. Güvenlik
Kişisel verileri korumak için makul teknik ve idari önlemler uygularız — tüm site trafiği için HTTPS/TLS 1.3, depolanan veri üzerinde erişim kontrolleri, işleyicilerin denetlenmesi. Hiçbir sistem %100 güvenli değildir. Haklarınızı riske atan bir veri ihlali tespit edersek KVKK gereği 72 saat içinde sizi ve Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu’nu bilgilendiririz.
11. Çocuklar
maalat.co bir işletmeler arası (B2B) hizmettir. 18 yaşın altındaki bireylerden bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız. Yanlışlıkla topladığımızı düşünüyorsanız founder@maalat.co adresine e-posta gönderin; sileriz.
12. Değişiklikler
Bu Gizlilik Politikasını zaman zaman güncelleyebiliriz. En üstteki yürürlük tarihi güncel sürümü yansıtır. Esaslı değişiklikler aktif sipariş müşterilerine e-posta ile bildirilir ve ana sayfada en az 30 gün süreyle özetlenir.
